In June 2006, The Kitchin; a new wave of Michelin star dining, arrived on
Edinburgh’s shore, and since then has taken the restaurant scene by storm.
After only seven months of operation, the restaurant was awarded a
Michelin-star, making Tom Kitchin the youngest chef proprietor to achieve
this coveted accolade. Set in beautiful, historic Edinburgh, it is the
perfect destination for a special occasion lunch.
Through the restaurant’s philosophy ‘From Nature to Plate’, Tom Kitchin
presents a menu that is always in keeping with the seasons and demonstrates
his passion for Scottish produce. The restaurant presents modern British cuisine
influenced by French cooking techniques and an appreciation of the best
ingredients available from Scotland’s outstanding natural larder.
