BORDEAUX Wine Tasting & Cordeillion Bages

Wine Tasting in Bordeaux

Fly to Bordeaux by private jet and visit some of the region’s most prestigious wine châteaux for a private tasting - perhaps Château Margaux, Château Gruaud Larose or Château Lynch-Bages.

Your Bordeaux wine tasting trip represents indulgence for all the senses but most prominently for taste: the wines of this region are rightly celebrated around the world for their extraordinary quality. Driving through the rolling hillsides, blanketed in row upon row of precious vines and dotted with medieval stone villages and chateaux, is like stepping back in history.

Whilst in Bordeaux, enjoy lunch at Château Cordeillan-Bages, a 17th century Carthusian monastery where brilliant young chef Thierry Marx has earned himself two Michelin stars with his cooking of the Gironde region.

The Medoc, a narrow strip of land to the north west of Bordeaux, is the best place for a Bordeaux wine tasting expedition. Here you will discover the most renowned vineyards that are home to the greatest red wines of France, mostly dating back to the late seventeenth and early eighteenth century. Nothing can compare to tasting these wines in the places where they are cultured and your tour of the vineyards and chateaux will be a fascinating experience.

Guide price: £1,960 per person based on a day return for six people flying by Citation CJ2 from Luton, two châteaux visits with wine tastings and gourmet lunch. Other departure airports and durations are available.
