Originally a 15th century monastery with a façade designed by Michelangelo, the Villa is located just outside Florence on the Fiesole hill. Set in idyllic Italian gardens and lush woodland, it has breathtaking views over one of Italy’s most historic cities.
The original building has been lovingly restored to create a luxurious hotel while maintaining the integrity of the Villa’s past. A 17th century fresco of the Last Supper by Nicodemo Ferrucci and a small Cappellina, or chapel, in the grounds are just two of its treasures. The suites are split between the main building and the Villa gardens. All are luxuriously furnished and appointed – many with antiques, others in typical Tuscan style, and some with their own private terraces or gardens.
